Zing Bias was founded in 2001, in the wake of the first internet bubble collapse, by partners Edward Ayoub and Rod Pasic. Before launching the agency, they worked with top firms across Canada and the U.S., shaping digital experiences for renowned brands like Nike, Sony Pictures, Fox Studios, Warner Brothers, National Geographic, Bacardi, Inside Sports, NextCard, and many more.
Edward Ayoub made waves in digital advertising by developing the first-ever dynamically generated Flash-based banner ads. Building on this innovation, Zing Bias officially launched later that year, embarking on an exciting and prolific journey.
Our first major milestone came with the development of the very first Harvey’s website, followed by Outback Steakhouse. Soon after, we designed North America’s first enterprise-level online ordering system for Swiss Chalet—an industry game-changer that generated billions of dollars in revenue.
Since then, we’ve had the privilege of working with some of Canada’s most iconic brands, including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, TFC, Bell Media, Purolator Courier, Canada Post, Kelsey’s, Montana’s Cookhouse, and many more. Our ability to think beyond conventional boundaries has led to groundbreaking achievements.

In 2011, we earned a Silver Medal at the prestigious Cannes Lions Advertising Awards for our innovative strategy to monetize and grow the customer database for the internationally acclaimed Swiss Chalet Rotisserie Chicken Channel.
In 2016, we partnered with South Carolina-based Smoked Hall Foods to build The General’s Hot Sauce brand from the ground up. As a veteran-owned company, The General’s Hot Sauce is dedicated to producing 100% American-made hot sauces while supporting military families and creating jobs for veterans. We were honored to help bring their vision to life through strategic branding and design.
A year later, our innovative work was once again recognized when we won the Design Gallery People’s Choice Award at the annual Packaging That Sells Conference in Chicago.
We are also proud to collaborate with various First Nations organizations, including Caldwell First Nation, Chiefs of Ontario, Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, Noozhoo Nokiiyan, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
